Revised Ford Transit Minibus breaks cover

Ford has unveiled the new and improved 14-seat Transit Minibus, as well as revealing payload enhancements on larger 17-seat models.
The 14-seat Transit Minibus is fitted with a 2.4-litre TDCi powertrain which is available in three power ratings ranging from 97-137bhp.
All of these engines come with the same new six-speed manual gearbox, as do all rear-wheel-drive vehicles in the Transit range. This new transmission delivers better combined MPG and lower CO2 figures, as well as a longer life expectancy.
All Transit Minibuses, including the 17-seat model that now has a 4.25 tonne payload, are designed to carry occupants in a safe, spacious and well equipped interior, says the manufacturer.
The Minibus range therefore boasts a car-like ride and handling experience and is fitted with ABS, ESP, driver and passenger airbags and the latest generation seatbelts as standard.
The new 14-seat Transit Minibus is available now from £25,400.
