Renault Tech launches Kangoo WAV
Renault Tech has launched the new Kangoo Wheelchair Accessible vehicle (WAV), which has been designed to offer as much space and comfort as possible.
The Kangoo’s twin sliding doors are accessed via a ramp at the rear and the van provides a smooth ride to give extra comfort for the wheelchair occupant.
The Kangoo WAV is available in three specifications - Essential, Easy and Serenity. The Essential includes ramp access, three seats and ample space for the largest of wheelchairs.
The Easy package comes with a grab handle, automatic lowering air suspension, four seats, 12V rear socket and space for a wheelchair.
Serenity includes a remote control single-fold ramp, automatic lowering air suspension, three or four seats, grab handles on both sides and space for a wheelchair.
Despite the increased practicality and versatility, Renault insists that the Kangoo WAV retains its stylish looks both inside and out.
Prices for the original Kangoo van start from £11,825.
