Renault LCV sales increase in 2010

Renault has revealed it has increased LCV sales in the first six months of the year by almost 15 per cent compared to 2009.
From 1 January to 30 June Renault sold 148,386 vans worldwide, a 14.8 per cent rise from the 129,204 it sold in the same period last year.
The French manufacturer’s June sales results showed that 29,052 new Renault LCVs were registered worldwide, a 13.5 per cent increase from June 2009.
The UK was once again among Renault’s top ten markets in the first half of 2010, taking a 4.9 per cent total market share.
Jerome Stoll, Executive vice-president of Sales and marketing and LCVs said: “These results can be explained primarily by the strong market momentum set up by the renewal of product ranges."
Prices for the Renault Kangoo, Master and Trafic start at £13,058, £23,261 and £19,963 respectively.
