Renault has reported an increase in enquiries for its vans after showcasing three models at the CV Operator Show earlier this month.

The French marque introduced the new Kangoo Van Maxi and Master models at the annual show at the NEC in Birmingham, and has now declared the event a huge success.

Renault UK’s Brand Communications Manager, Mark Waller, said, “Even though this year’s event is on a smaller scale than usual due to the economic downturn, we’ve been pleasantly surprised by the volume and consistently high quality of the customer enquiries we’ve received over the three days."

Weller claims the interest generated from the show will increase sales of the facelifted Kangoo van over the coming months.

He explained: “The new Kangoo Van Maxi and Master models have obviously been good draws to our stand and overall we’re expecting interest in all the new models to be high in the coming months after the show."

Over 300 exhibitors attended the show, including vans from Vauxhall, Fiat and Citroen.
