Peugeot and Citroen dominate van security awards
The winners of the 2010 British Insurance Vehicle Security Awards have been revealed, with Peugeot and Citroen both making the top three van manufacturers and netting class wins.
The seventh annual awards ceremony saw a wide range of manufacturers including Renault, Ford and Vauxhall also receive prestigious accolades.
The new Green Van category was won by the Ford Fiesta Sport Van, with the Peugeot 207 van coming third.
The Peugeot 207 van also scooped the Light Van award while the Peugeot Partner and Citroen Berlingo a close second and third.
The Citroen C-Crosser went on to receive the 4x4 van award, fending off competition from previous winners.
As a result, Peugeot and Citroen were placed second and third in the top van manufacturers.
The Peugeot Expert and Boxer and Citroen Dispatch and Citroen Relay also received honourable mentions.
The Citroen 207 van is available from £11,778 with the Citroen C-Crosser starting at £21,001.
