A new conversion of the Vauxhall Movano for motability customers is available now from Gowrings Mobility.

The Movano joins the Renault Master to the accessible minibus market, with the conversion designed and built with the needs of the wheelchair passengers as priority.

The short wheelbase Vauxhall Movano has been converted to provide flexible seating combinations of up to three wheelchair users, three seated passengers and the driver, or seven seated passengers and the driver.

The three wheelchair positions are located in prime position for access, vision and space. Wheelchair access is via a Ricon inboard lift, which has been offset to make it easier for carers to manoeuvre the wheelchair passengers in, and so that they can sit next to the rear wheelchair user if required.

Wheelchair restraints are discreetly sunken flush into the floor for reduced trip hazard. The seatbelts are securely and neatly mounted onto the body of the vehicle, providing optimum angles for safety and comfort.

Ambulant passengers can access the vehicle via a very wide electric side step, and using a winning combination of folding, removable and fixed seats, seating can be moved around to suit different layout requirements and journeys.
