New Ford Transit Sapphire
Ford will sell a limited-edition Sapphire edition of its Transit commercial vehicle to celebrate the sale of 6m vans worldwide.
The Sapphire special edition van rolled off the production line at Ford's Southampton plant, prior to the van going on sale in the UK this month.
There are three Transit Sapphire model available with standard kit such as special silver styling touches, Ink Blue paint, air conditioning, front fog lights, heated front windscreen; Bluetooth with Voice Control System and cruise control.
A 280 short wheelbase is a low-roof, front-wheel-drive model powered by a 114bhp 2.2-litre TDCi engine and a six-speed transmission.
The 280 medium wheelbase boasts the same drivetrain combination and features a medium roof. A rear-wheel drive Ford Transit Sapphire 350 long wheelbase gets a larger engine and is rear-wheel driven.
The Ford Transit Sapphire models will go on sale in May priced from £14,995.
