New diesel added to Renault Master van

Renault has designed a new, enhanced 2.3dCi diesel engine for the Master Van range.
The new engine, available in 100, 125 and 150 variants, will replace the older 2.5dCi in front-wheel drive vans and the 3.0 dCi in rear-wheel drive models.
Renault has built the engine to be more reliable and efficiency then outgoing units and the 2.3dCi increases the service interval of the Master van from 30,000 miles to 40,000 miles.
The French marque has quoted reduced emissions of up to ten per cent from outgoing models, depending on which powertrain is driven.
Following the new 2.3dCi in the Renault Master van range will be a 1.6dCi engine to replace the current 1.9dCi. Despite the smaller size, Renault claims performance will be better and CO2 emissions will be cut by 30g/km when the engine arrives in 2011.
Renault Master vans come in a variety of wheelbase lengths and roof heights to suit all types of industry. The Master van range starts at £20,795.
