Ford predicts strong van sales

Ford believes that sub-3.5 tonne LCV sales figures will continue to improve over the next two years.
The Blue Oval company predicts that figures will be up at least 10 per cent on 2009 by the end of this year, with Transit sales expected to remain buoyant.
Ford also believes that 2011 will be an even better year, and will represent a further 10 to 15 per cent of growth, but only if the country doesn’t experience a double-dip recessions. Ford is confident that this won’t happen, however.
The Ford Transit is celebrating 45 years in the UK this year will strong sales that make it the best-selling van in its class. This has been the case throughout its life, and its showing no signs of letting up, with the introduction of cut-price models and the limited edition commemorative Sapphire model.
The Ford Transit is priced from £17,155.
