European commercial sales fluctuate
European commercial vehicle sales fell slightly in February 3.1 percent in February, industry association ACEA said on Friday, as truck market stabilised.
Demand for commercial vehicle in general has stabilised in recent months, but large trucks continue to suffer.
However, light commercial vehicle registrations– including models such as the Ford Transit, Vauxhall Vivaro and Peugeot Partner – increased for the first time since April 2008.
Van sales have been helped by scrappage schemes, which are currently coming to an end around Europe.
