Citroen vans in sales success
Post-scrappage sales of Citroen vans has remained strong, highlighted by a new sales record at a live online closed sale earlier this month.
Citroen sold all of the 409 cars and commercial vehicles at the sale at the BCA Measham, including the Citroen Nemo, Berlingo and Relay.
Citroen dealers at the auction hall and online put in bids for the vehicles, with 13 per cent going to online buyers.
Michael Brown, Head of Remarketing for Citroën UK, said: "This was the biggest single sale volume ever achieved by Citroën and BCA. The strong attendance and the confident bidding throughout the sale underlines the desirability of the Citroën range and demonstrates the commitment of our dealer network towards used cars.
“To sell over 400 vehicles in one sale on one day is exceptional, particularly during a week when demand seemed a little softer."
In total, the sale generated £3.26 million of income for Citroen.
