Citroen strikes 850-van fleet deal
Citroen has signed a deal to provide 850 commercial vehicles as part of a fleet renewal programme for PH Jones.
The property maintenance and utility metering company is taking delivery of 850 Citroen Berlingo and Dispatch vans.
This comes as part of a ‘rebranding programme’, according to the Managing Director of the company, Martin Jones. “The new livery is designed to emphasise PH Jones."
PH Jones carried out an exhaustive vehicle review in which fitness for purpose; whole life costs; environmental considerations; and overall comfort were all rigorously tested.
The Berlingo and Citroen Dispatch were successful in meeting all of these requirements and were subsequently chosen to exclusively carry the PH Jones name.
Working closely with Lloyds TSB Autolease contract hire, PH Jones is operating its 350 Dispatch 2.0HDi 120hp and 500 Berlingo 1.6HDi 90hp vans on 42-month/70,000-mile agreements.
All vans are being fitted with internal racking and extra equipment by Chambers Vehicle Conversions.
The Citroen Dispatch has been shortlisted for the Motor Transport Fleet Van of the year Award 2010 and is available from £15,570 with the Citroen Berlingo starting at £11,195.
