Citroen lands fleet deal
Citroen has provided health and fitness group Fitness First with a fleet of six new LCV’s.
The company’s current order consists of one Citroen Dispatch dual fuel van, one Berlingo dual fuel van and four Berlingo 1.6HDi vans. This is also expected to be followed by numerous repeat orders as Fitness First plans to replace and expand its outgoing 30-strong fleet.
Glyn Allen, Fitness First’s head of contracts, said: “We have continued our strategic relationship with long-term suppliers Citroen."
“We have a van fleet that provides optimal environmental, operational and financial performance."
The Dispatch and Berlingo dual fuel (petrol/lpg) are exempt from London Congestion Charge – something that will be much welcomed as 59 of the 160 Fitness First gyms are located in Greater London.
The new LCV’s are being acquired and operated on 48-month/80,000mile contract hire agreements.
The Citroen Berlingo and Dispatch ranges start from just £14,069 and £19,260 respectively.
