Citroen Berlingo mobility catering makeover
For the first time in the UK, the Citroen Berlingo platform has been used in the design of a mobile catering vehicle.
Jiffy Trucks has based the Jiffy Panino model on the Berlingo 1000 1.6HDi 90bhp platform and a larger version, based on the Citroen Dispatch, is currently in development.
The van, designed to store food and drink in the stainless steel rear, features an oven, double-glazed warming and heated and chilled compartments.
Designed to cater for sporting, business and other public events, the Jiffy Panino costs £22,995 plus VAT.
Previously the manufacturer of mobile catering vehicles has used the Berlingo First platform in the design of the best-selling Fresco model.
The Jiffy Panino will make its debut at the Food and Drink Expo at the NEC in Birmingham on 21 March.
